Blade-FX Reports — Complete User Guide

This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the Reports module in Blade-FX. It explains how users can access, create, manage, organize, and analyze reports across the platform. The documentation is structured to help both operational users and administrators understand how to leverage Blade-FX reporting capabilities efficiently, including filtering, categorization, and best-practice usage patterns for enterprise environments.

Accessing the Reports Module

To begin working with reports in Blade-FX, log in to the application and locate the left-hand navigation sidebar. From the available modules, select Reports.

Once selected, the main application workspace updates to display the Reports overview screen, which contains a list of all reports available to your user role. This screen acts as the central hub for report execution, exploration, and administration.

The Reports module is designed to be highly scalable, supporting anything from a handful of dashboards to hundreds of operational and analytical reports across multiple business domains.

Reports Overview Screen

The Reports overview screen provides a structured and searchable list of all reports accessible to the user.

Each report entry typically displays:

  • Report name

  • Assigned category

  • Creation or last modified date

  • Author or owner

  • Execution status (if applicable)

Users can scroll, search, or filter this list to quickly locate a specific report. The interface is optimized for large datasets, ensuring that even organizations with extensive reporting libraries can navigate efficiently without performance issues.

Running a Report

To execute a report, simply click on the report name from the list.

Once selected:

  • The report opens in the main workspace.

  • Input parameters (if defined) will be displayed at the top.

  • The system automatically loads and renders the dataset.

Depending on the report type, the output may be shown as:

  • Tables

  • Charts

  • KPIs

  • Dashboards

  • Combined visual layouts

Reports can be refreshed at any time to ensure up-to-date data, especially for operational monitoring use cases such as logistics performance, sales trends, or financial summaries.

Filtering and Searching Reports

  • Blade-FX provides powerful tools for managing large report libraries.

    Users can:

    • Filter by category.

    • Sort by date, owner, or usage frequency.

This is especially useful in enterprise deployments where hundreds of reports exist across departments.

Organizing Reports with Categories

Reports can be grouped into categories for logical structuring.
